You Shouldn't Have to Wait Months for Answers
If you're living with unexplained symptoms — being told your blood tests are 'fine' while knowing something isn't right — you're not imagining it. And you shouldn't have to wait.
-
Persistent joint pain or swelling
Not just wear and tear. Persistent joint pain can be an early sign of arthritis or autoimmune disease — early assessment protects your joints long-term.
-
Fatigue that doesn't improve with rest
Ongoing exhaustion linked to autoimmune or rheumatic disease. A thorough assessment is key to ruling out serious conditions and finding strategies that help.
-
Morning stiffness lasting 30+ minutes
A key clinical sign of inflammatory arthritis — not normal ageing. Early diagnosis allows treatment that eases symptoms and protects joint health over time.
-
Fingers or toes changing colour in the cold
Raynaud's phenomenon — sometimes harmless, sometimes a sign of underlying autoimmune disease. Getting checked separates the two confidently.
-
Abnormal blood test results
Raised CRP, ESR, ANA, or rheumatoid factor can be an early clue. A specialist helps you understand what they actually mean in your specific situation.
-
Dismissed or told "it's just stress"
One of the most common reasons patients come to Dr. Singh. A specialist assessment by a dual-trained consultant frequently changes the picture entirely.
-
Symptoms that don't fit one diagnosis
A mix of pain, fatigue, rashes, and abnormal results that nobody can connect. Complex, overlapping presentations are a particular area of Dr. Singh's expertise.
-
Joint or back pain with psoriasis
Psoriatic arthritis is commonly missed. If you have psoriasis alongside joint or back pain, a specialist review can be genuinely life-changing.
"If you recognise any of these, it may be time to see a specialist — not in six months, but now."

The Rheumatologist That Harley Street & Central London Patients Trust
Dr. Animesh Singh is a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine — and London's most reviewed consultant rheumatologist on both Doctify and Google, with over 516 verified patient reviews and a rating of 4.98 out of 5.
He is the Clinical Lead in Rheumatology at the Royal Free Hospital — one of the UK's leading tertiary referral centres — with over 20 years of medical experience and more than a decade as a consultant managing complex, multi-system, and difficult-to-diagnose conditions.

He trained at University College London, graduating with a first-class BSc in Immunology, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2020. He is a principal investigator in clinical trials and runs a collaborative psoriatic arthritis clinic with dermatology colleagues at the Royal Free.
In private practice, Dr. Singh sees patients at The Physicians' Clinic, Devonshire Street — in the Harley Street medical district of Central London. As a rheumatologist in Central London, he offers the same level of expertise found at the NHS's top tertiary centres, with the speed and continuity that private care makes possible. Patients searching for a rheumatologist in Harley Street and the surrounding W1 area will find his clinic a short walk from Regent's Park and Baker Street stations.

I have multiple joints pain for a month and have swelling in my fingers for almost 2 weeks. I have been on painkillers for a month as well. Washing hands or changing clothes is a challenge for me. My GP kept refusing to refer me the rheumatologist without the blood test result or could not come up with any diagnosis. My blood test came as normal. I had an appointment with Dr Singh yesterday and upon first inspection diagnosed it as psoriatic arthritis and said the blood test come as normal for this. He empathised on my situation and prescribed medication assuring that it will help me with the swelling and the pain. He explained to me about a long term treatment plan. I am very grateful to him and his assurance have made me confident that I will get better under his guidance.
